Charles passed away in 2017 at the age of 20, after an 8-month battle with
brain cancer. Charles was passionate about volunteering for Croton EMS and
we established this Scholarship to honor Charles and to reward graduating
seniors who show similar passion and dedication toward Croton EMS.

Izzy joined Croton EMS as a Freshman and has volunteered over 300 hours
through her active participation in training sessions, ambulance
ride-alongs, parades, and other events. She will be attending the
University of Rhode Island, pursuing a degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
We look forward to having her volunteer with us during breaks and summer
vacations.
