On Saturday, June 5th, Croton EMS participated in Montrose's Annual Fireman's Parade. In preparation for the parade, the entire week prior, a group of extremely dedicated volunteers spent countless hours washing, waxing and cleaning ambulance 55B1. Croton EMS is proud to recognize two of our younger members, Matthea Schor and Sydney McCabe, for being some of the first in New York State to receive their NYS EMT Certification at the age of 17. In 2018 New York State amended the required age to become a certified EMT from 18 to 17 years of age. Congratulations to our two newest EMTs Tiffany Gilleo and Sydney McCabe who both successfully completed their EMT courses and passed both their New York State written and practical exams! Both of these members worked extremely hard and diligently studied for the past few months while completing their 208 hour NYS EMT course. Peekskill St. Patricks Day Parade

After 2 long years, the annual Peekskill St. Patricks Day parade was able to be held! About a dozen Croton EMS and Explorer Post 5500 members got together to celebrate and show their support while still having a volunteer crew back at home to cover the village. St. Patricks Day Meeting

Stop the Bleed
